I earned a PhD in Pedagogical-Didactic Training for Teachers. I am an expert on General Didactics, Didactic Design, and Special Activities, Education and Learning Technologies. I lead the workshops “Teaching with technologies in the classroom” and “General teaching”. I am an internship tutor and e-tutor at the Blended Master’s Degree in Media Education.
Since November 2012 I have been collaborating with CREMIT in teachers’ training and research activities. For the Department of Primary Education Sciences of the Catholic University of Milan I conducted the workshops “Teaching with technologies in the classroom” and “General teaching”. I am an internship tutor and e-tutor at the Blended Master’s Degree in Media Education. Currently, for CREMIT I have mainly conducted research, Media Education laboratories, and teachers’ training courses on information technology.
Studies and professional training
In 2013 I obtained a master’s degree in Adult Education and Orientation and Development of Training Systems (curriculum: Training and Media), specializing in “The digital skills of teachers. A case study on the educational use of iPads”, a thesis that led me to engage with the pilot project Motus (Monitoring Tablet Utilization in School).
Research and intervention areas
My research interests are mainly linked to the pedagogy of contract, the media diet, and the themes of self-regulation in the use of digital screens – themes that I explored during my doctoral thesis. My research and training interventions are therefore mainly linked to these issues, but I also deal with Education Technology and digital applications for teaching.
In 2018 I was the winner of the II edition of the SIREM “Young researchers” award presenting the contribution “Teachers’ digital competences: practices and representations in profile indicators”, written in tandem with Gloria Sinini and presented at the SIREM conference held at the University of Bologna (Bologna, 5-6 April 2018).
